Ikko Tanaka

Ikko Tanaka is one of the most famous Japanese designers. He was born in 1930 in Nara. He specialized in designing posters, logos, typography, books and magazines. He published several influential books about typography. Ikko Tanaka has received many awards (one at the Warsaw International Poster Biennale) and his work can be seen in art galleries in New York, Los Angeles, Paris and Mexico. He died in 2002.
